hammurabi's code of the ancient mesopotamian society was important because it set the first written laws in human history.
the code contained 282 laws written in 12 tablets in the akkadian language which was common in babylonia at the time [1795 - 1750 bce].
there are still children working in the fields and in the illegal sweat shops.
without rules and regulations,the world would be in chaos with no structure. mankind is selfish and greedy. soon enough people would end up killing one another with no consequences. it originated with why the law was made in the first place ( other than the protection from the overstepping of government)
if the real dad does a paternity test you are in big trouble. you don't have to put the father down, leave the space empty. the adopting couple could get the child taken away if the adoption was proven to be done with false information. it would cause an awful lot of heartache to the child and the new parents.
